Virginia V. Hilderbrand

Mrs. Virginia Hilderbrand passed away Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 20, 2013, at Camelot Nursing and Rehab Center, Farmington, at the age of 88 years, 11 months & 29 days. Virginia was born Aug. 21, 1924, in Valley Park, MO., and was the daughter of Andrew Fine "Pete" Wideman and Nora Belle (Abbott) Wideman. Also preceding in death were: 2 sisters - Viola Johnson & Alberta Jones. 2 Brothers - Vernon Wideman & Lawrence Wideman.

Virginia was a member of the Valley Park, MO., Amvets. Virginia enjoyed singing, dancing, camping, fishing and having big barbeques with her family.

Survivors Include : her husband, Richard G. Hilderbrand, of Farmington. 1 daughter, Kay Asher, of California, MO. 2 Sons - Lee (& Gerry) Altis, of St. Charles, MO; Rick Hilderbrand (& Joyce Reagan), of Farmington. 1 sister - Margery Bryant of Port Byron, IL; 2 brothers - Andrew (& Dixie) Wideman, of Vienna, MO; Barney (& Sharon) Wideman, of Marthasville, MO. Also surviving are 7 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren; 1 Great, Great-Granddaughter; numerous Nieces & Nephews.

Visitation : Thursday, 5-8 p.m. Visitation Resumes, Friday morning @ 6:30 a.m.

Funeral : Friday, 12 Noon, Aug. 23, 2013

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Fr. James Dyer officiating

Interment follows at : Oak Hill Cemetery - Kirkwood, MO
