W. E. "Gene" Pruitt

Mr. W. E. "Gene" Pruitt passed away early Sunday evening, July 15, 2012, at the Jefferson Regional Medical Center, in Festus, MO., at the age of 81 years and 10 months. Gene was born on September 15, 1930, in Idalia, Missouri, & was the son of Vader O. Pruitt and Alice 'McRoy' Pruitt. Also preceding-in-death was a special daughter-in-law, Donna Pruitt.

Gene was a US Air Force Veteran of World War II.

Survivors Include : his wife, Shirley, J. 'Dunn' Pruitt, of Terre du Lac. One daughter, Jeanie (& Ralph) Cookson, of Terre du Lac. One son, Richard W. Pruitt, of Florissant, Missouri. Three grandchildren: Shawn Pruitt, Melissa Pruitt and Adrian Cookson. Also, 1 brother, Bob (& Betty) Pruitt, of Affton, Missouri, and 3 Sisters: Joyce, Louise & Kay.

There will be NO VISITATION

MEMORIAL SERVICE : Saturday, 2:00 p.m., July 28, 2012

at : Bonne Terre First Congregational Church, with Rev. Debbie Lawson officiating.
