Wayne D. Adams

Mr. Wayne D. Adams passed away Friday, Nov. 27, 2015, at his residence at the age of 90 years, 4 months & 13 days. Wayne was born July 4, 1925, in Leasburg, Mo., & was the son of Albert G. Adams and Ethel S. 'Cartwright' Adams. Also preceding-in-death was a brother, Howard Adams.

Wayne was a retired US Dept. of Interior - US Fish & Wildlife 'Project Manager' of Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge in Southern IL., He was a former Missouri Conservation Agent; former Puxico, MO., Director of Job Corps & former Jackson Public School System Principal. He was a US Air Force Veteran of World War II & a member of Farmington First Baptist Church.

Survivors Include : his wife, Joyce C. 'Laramore' Adams, of Farmington. 2 daughters - Marilyn Joyce (& Christopher) Nowicki, of Farmington, and Jeanette Marie Kell, of St. Peters, MO; A son, Stanley W. (& Ramona) Adams, of Hattiesburg, MS. A sister-in-law, Ruth Adams, of Farmington. 8 grandchildren: Stefanie (& Jason) Streger; Anna (& Jonah) Levia; Amanda Adams; Carrie Beth Adams; Jocelyn Nelson; Nicholas (& Maria) Nowicki; Adam (& Kylie) Kell & Rebekah Kell. Also, 3 great-grandchildren: Hannah; Olivia & Wyatt and baby boy Kell, due Jan. 2016.

Visitation : Monday, 4-6 p.m. Visitation resumes, Tuesday @ 8:00 a.m.

Funeral : Tuesday, 10:30 a.m., December 1,2015

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Dr. William C. Miller officiating

LeadBelt Patriot Guard Riders will lead the funeral procession to Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington, for burial with Full Military Honors.
