Wayne Earl Johnson

Mr. Wayne Earl Johnson passed away Sunday morning, July 23, 2017, at Farmington Presbyterian Manor at the age of 84 years, 11 months & 11 days. Wayne was born August 12, 1932, in Marshfield, Wisconsin, and was the son of Clifford Johnson and Ida Sophie 'Moen' Johnson Gustafson. Also preceding-in-death were: a sister, Barbara Morgan; a brother, Ward Arthur Johnson and a half-brother, Kenneth Sanders.

Wayne was a member of Libertyville United Methodist Church. He was a retired Professor from Stephen F. Austin State University in Texas. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Mae 'Cleve' Johnson, on September 16,1961, and Wayne was a US Air Force Veteran.

Survivors Include: his wife, Dorothy Mae 'Cleve' Johnson, of Farmington. a brother-in-law, Albert (& Karen) Cleve, of Farmington, and a sister-in-law, Marjorie Smith, of Farmington. Also surviving are numerous nieces & nephews.

Visitation Starts : Wednesday @ 9:00 a.m.

Funeral : Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., July 26, 2017

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Bob Webb and Sherie Wymore officiating

Interment follows at : Copenhagen Cemetery, Farmington
