Wendee Leigh-Marie Roth

Wendee Leigh-Marie Roth of Desloge, Missouri passed away on March 12, 2025 in Farmington, Missouri at the age of 52 years. She was born on November 9, 1972 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Michael Eric and Carolyn Sue (Vandergriff) Yates of Ironton, Missouri. On August 4, 2006 she was united in marriage to Gregory Roth who survives. To this union a son, Ramsay, was born. Wendee is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and many friends. Wendee was a 1991 graduate from Arcadia Valley High School. Following her graduation, Wendee obtained her Bachelor's degree in Education from Southeast Missouri State University. She then pursued and completed her Master's degree in Education from Webster University. She was a 2nd grade teacher at North St. Francois County Primary School. Wendee was a member of The Bridge Community Church in Leadington. She enjoyed sports, especially college basketball and baseball, and she loved to read. She also enjoyed singing Christian songs. Services for Wendee will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Bryson Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow the service at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre, Missouri. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or the Wild Animal Safari, 124 Jungle Road, Strafford, MO 65757.
