Wilhelmina "Sharon" Davis

Listen to Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wilhelmina Sharon Davis, who left this world peacefully on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at the age of 85. Born on Wednesday, May 8, 1940, to the late William Roscoe and Evelyn Elizabeth (Greenwell) Davis.

Sharon was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Maria Barnes; her grandchildren, Sherry (Paul) Patterson, William (Jessica) Barnes, Jr., David (Samantha) Barnes, and Amanda Barnes; and her 12 cherished great-grandchildren, with one great-great grandchild precious baby on the way. Her family was her greatest joy and the center of her world. She also leaves behind her dear sisters, Wynona (Bob) Shanks and Cecilia (Gary) Mahue.

She found happiness in life’s simple pleasures, crocheting, sewing, and creating beautiful diamond art. She had a deep love for nature, especially her plants and the birds she watched and welcomed. Her beloved fur baby, Skip, brought her endless companionship and comfort.

Sharon had a vibrant spirit and a love for adventure. She traveled far and wide, collecting stories and memories along the way, yet no matter where life took her, she always returned to what mattered most to her family.

She will be remembered for her infectious laughter, her kind heart, and her ability to make everyone feel welcome and loved. Her presence was a gift, and her legacy will live on through the many lives she touched.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Susan Haus; son-in-law, Mark Haus; sibling, Larry Davis, Jim Davis, Michael Davis, and son-in-law, Brian Barnes.

A visitation will be held in her honor, on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at C. Z. Boyer and Son Chapel from 10:00 AM until funeral service time of 12:00 PM where family and friends will gather to celebrate her life and share cherished memories.

Sharon Davis will forever be remembered as a loving matriarch with a creative spirit and a heart full of love. May she rest in peace, watching over her family like the birds she so dearly loved.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, a cause close to Sharon’s heart.
