William Mahurin

            Bill Mahurin, 67, of Desloge, passed away June 7, 2017 at NHC Nursing Center in Desloge. He was born September 28, 1949, in Bonne Terre, to the late William G. and Genevieve Cecilia (McCall) Mahurin. Bill served his country in the United States Army for 12 years. During this time, he received a National Defense service Medal, Purple Heart, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry w/Palm, Army Commendation Medal, Good Conduct medal and Senior Crew Member Badge. 

            He is survived by his siblings, Robert Mahurin and wife Carol, Jeanne Sullens, Mary Huber and husband Rick; and John Mahurin; many nieces and nephews, also survive. 

            A graveside service will be held at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Park Hills, Monday, June 12, 2017 at 10:00 AM, with Deacon Mike Burch. Memorials may be directed to Camp Hope.
