William "Ernie" Mckinney

William Ernest "Ernie" McKinney of Potosi, MO passed away on August 6, 2020 at Jefferson Mercy Hospital in Festus, Missouri at the age of 45 years. He was born on October 4, 1974, the son of the late George and Margaret "Maggie" (Bennett) McKinney. Ernie is survived by his half-sister, Tina Newby of Guthrie, Oklahoma. He is also survived by his special cousin, Meredith Bennett of Farmington, Missouri, his niece, Megan Karlovich of Springfield, Missouri and two nephews, Josh Billings and Dakota Billings also of Springfield. Ernie is also survived by numerous other uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives, and friends. In addition to his parents, Ernie was preceded in death by three half-sisters; Georgia Billings, Linda Burke and Christie Chandler. William liked to work on computers, was an avid Star Trek fan, and he loved fried chicken. William will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
