William "Bill" Womble

William Raymond Womble of Ironton, Missouri, passed away at his home on June 24, 2020 at the age of 79 Years. He was born April 19, 1941, in St. Louis, Missouri, a son of the late William Wesley Womble and Grace Arabell (Wortham) Womble. On August 27, 1966, he was united in marriage to Donna Rae Harris, who survives. To this union were born two sons: Timothy Shawn Womble and wife, Michelle of Farmington, Missouri, and Craig Ross Womble of Middlebrook, Missouri. He is also survived by his grandson, Tyler William Womble as well as a host of other relatives and many friends. Bill was preceded in death by his sister, Betty "Jean" Gault. Bill was a 1959 graduate of Ironton High School. He served his country in the United States Army. Bill worked for ASARCO as an accountant from 1968 until he retired in 1998. He was a member of the Arcadia Valley Country Club where he was an avid golfer. He also volunteered his time at the club helping in any way that he could.
