Wilma "Nadine" Gifford

Wilma "Nadine" Gifford passed away March 9, 2017 in Ironton, Missouri at the age of 86 years 7 months and 5 days. She was born August 4, 1930 in Springfield, Illinois, daughter to the late Walter Sr. and Etha (Jeffries) Hood. On September 6, 1947, she was united in marriage to Linas Reed Sr. who preceded her in death in May, 1990. To this union seven children were born: Bill Reed and wife Pat of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Gary Reed and wife Barb of Clinton, Missouri, Sherry Reed of Cherryville, Missouri, Linas Reed Jr. of Washington, Missouri, Cynthia Reed of Foristell, Missouri, Tim Reed of LaMarque, Texas and Nancy Jordan and husband J.R. of High Ridge, Missouri. Also surviving are fourteen grandchildren and over thirty great grandchildren. Nadine is preceded in death by brothers John Hood, Walter Hood Jr., Lloyd Hood, Franklin Hood, Kenneth Hood and sisters Wanda Larsen and Beverly Hood.
