Wilma "Nadine" Gifford

Wilma "Nadine" Gifford passed away March 9, 2017 in Ironton, Missouri at the age of 86 years 7 months and 5 days. She was born August 4, 1930 in Springfield, Illinois, daughter to the late Walter Sr. and Etha (Jeffries) Hood. On September 6, 1947, she was united in marriage to Linas Reed Sr. who preceded her in death in May, 1990. To this union seven children were born: Bill Reed and wife Pat of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Gary Reed and wife Barb of Clinton, Missouri, Sherry Reed of Cherryville, Missouri, Linas Reed Jr. of Washington, Missouri, Cynthia Reed of Foristell, Missouri, Tim Reed of LaMarque, Texas and Nancy Jordan and husband J.R. of High Ridge, Missouri. Also surviving are fourteen grandchildren and over thirty great grandchildren. Nadine is preceded in death by brothers John Hood, Walter Hood Jr., Lloyd Hood, Franklin Hood, Kenneth Hood and sisters Wanda Larsen and Beverly Hood. Nadine was a member of the First Baptist Church in New Franklin, Missouri. She was a member of the Mothers Club, and the PTA. She was an avid golfer, and was active in her church. She worked as a Real Estate Broker in Fenton, Missouri. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on March 15, 2017 from The Baptist Home Chapel with Rev. Gerald Collier officiating. Visitation will being at 9:00 A.M. Interment will be in the Sunset Cemetery in Pacific, Missouri with Rev. Bill Affolter officiating.
