Wilma Belle (Tate) Hatridge, 100, of Pilot Knob, matriarch, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend, went to her heavenly home on Monday, March 16, 2026. Wilma was born on Monday, August 3, 1925, Otterey, Missouri, to late William Aaron & Margaret Virginia ( Farley) Tate.

Wilma was known far and wide for her exceptional cooking, especially her well-known pot roast that brought family and friends together around the table. Her passion for gardening and canning allowed her to share the fruits of her labor with loved ones, filling her home and their hearts with warmth and love. 

Wilma celebrated her 100th birthday at Fort Davidson on August 3, 2025, a milestone that brought over 100 family and friends together to honor her life and legacy. She was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Belleview, where her love for the Lord and commitment to her faith was evident in her generous spirit and community involvement. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Aaron & Margaret Virginia (Farley) Tate; beloved husband, Elmer Hatridge; with whom she shared 57 wonderful years of marriage, her. son, Larry Hatridge; four siblings: Willard (Earlene) Tate, Georgia Wren, Bonnie (Cletus) Anderson and Aaron Tate.

Wilma is survived by her loving son, Vernon Hatridge and wife Helen; daughter-in-law, Patti Hatridge, wife of the late Larry Hatridge; five grandchildren: Melissa (Michael) Hampton, Alicia (John) Soller, Erica Hatridge, Ryan (Amanda) Chambers, and Kurt (Andrea) Chambers; eleven great-grandchildren; her loving sister in law, Betty Tate, and numerous nieces and nephews. She spent the last year living at Meadowbrook Residential Care Center.

Visitation will be held at Bryson Chapel in Ironton, on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. until service time of 12:30 p.m. with Pastor Don Akers officiating. Burial will follow at Arcadia Valley Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to Arcadia Food Pantry, 432 Maple Street, Ironton, MO. 63650, to support the community she cherished so deeply.

Wilma B. Hatridge will be dearly missed, but her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her.
