Wilma Faye Pinkley, 87, of Farmington passed away December 28, 2025 at Parkland Health Center in Farmington. She was born February 26, 1938 in French Village, MO to the late William Clyde Archambo and Irene Cecelia (AuBuchon) Archambo. Wilma was a member of the First Baptist Church of Farmington. She found her greatest joy in spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, showering them with affection and creating memories they will cherish forever. Through her gentle guidance and unconditional love, she taught them how to love others and live with kindness. She also enjoyed traveling, especially to the mountains, lakes, and beaches, where she found peace and happiness in the beauty of nature and the moments shared with those she loved.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Jesse Allen Pinkley; son, Randy Pinkley; four sisters, Ann Frazier, Bernice Gore, Elaine Maurice and Karen Wisdom; two brothers, Donald Archambo and Charles Archambo; foster family, Burl and Lura Gordon, Marilyn Gordon Watts and Lee Roy and June Gordon.
Wilma is survived by her three children, Charlotte Stewart and husband Jay, Sandy Gamblin and husband Mike, Jay Pinkley and wife Deborah; daughter-in-law, Beverly Pinkley Ewing and husband Steve; eight grandchildren, Jeremiah (Brittany) Stewart, Jessica Boeckelmann, Jordan (Sarah) Varble, Kyndyl (Brenna) Pinkley, Corey Pinkley, Nicole (Ben) Hibner, Grant (Emily) Pinkley, Brett (Faith) Pinkley; three step-grandchildren, Ben Gamblin (Jessica), Josh (Amber) Gamblin, Amanda (Bobby) Hodges; twenty-one great-grandchildren; three sisters, Rose (Paul) Hubert, Margaret Thomas and Sharon (Dale) Cole. Many nieces, nephews, family and friends also survive.
Visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church of Farmington on Saturday, January 3, 2026 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery in Ste. Genevieve County. Memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Farmington or Chestnut Ridge Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel in Farmington.
